Copyright Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Slow Sync respects intellectual property rights and expects uploaders to do the same. This policy explains how rights holders can report infringing photos and how counter-notices work.
1. Uploader responsibility
Uploaders may only submit photos they own or are authorized to share. By uploading, you confirm that you hold the rights to the photo and that it does not infringe any third-party copyright. Submitting work you do not own is prohibited and may lead to removal and loss of access.
2. Takedown request process
If you believe a photo on Slow Sync infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to bluepigfilmstudio@gmail.com including all of the following:
- Your full name and contact information (email and, if available, a postal address).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the photo on Slow Sync (the URL of the photo detail page and, if possible, the photographer name shown).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to the identified photo. We may request clarification if your notice is incomplete.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe your photo was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to bluepigfilmstudio@gmail.com including:
- Identification of the removed photo and the URL where it appeared.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your contact information and consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We may restore the photo if no legal action is initiated within a reasonable period after the counter-notice is received.
4. Repeat-infringer policy
We will remove photos that are the subject of valid takedown notices, and we will restrict or remove the ability of users who repeatedly submit infringing material. Where accounts exist, repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
5. Designated DMCA agent
BluePigFilm is the designated DMCA agent for Slow Sync. Notices of claimed infringement may be sent to bluepigfilmstudio@gmail.com. BluePigFilm will be formally designated with the U.S. Copyright Office as the DMCA agent for this service, and the contact information above should be used for all takedown requests in the meantime.
